A lovely small Georgian oak candle table dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. It has a round top set on a gun barrel turned support with tripod splayed legs. It has a beautiful rich colour and is a nice piece of country furniture.
It is in good condition for it's age and is strong and sturdy with a good level top. There are signs of age and use, some minor marks on the top surface and some light knocks around the base but nothing detrimental. There have been some old repairs and there are signs of historic worm in the legs which has been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the piece structurally or aesthetically. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
