A large antique dinner gong dating from the early 20th Century. It is a good quality piece and the brass gong hangs in an oak frame with nicely turned finials and splayed legs with reeded detail. It also comes with a wooden handled beater.
It is in good condition for its age with a lovely patina. There are some minor signs of age and use, some small knocks and marks and a few old repairs but nothing detrimental and it is strong and sturdy. It has been lightly cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
