A beautiful pine chest of drawers dating from late 19th / early 20th Century. The pine has a lovely warm colour and it is a good large size offering plenty of storage. Each drawer has turned wooden knobs and it stands on turned bun feet.
The chest is in good condition for its age. Each drawer is generally clean and tidy and opens and closes smoothly. There are some signs of age and use with light surface marks and minor knocks but nothing detrimental. There are a few shrinkage splits in the top surface and a small circular repair where a natural knot has fallen out (see photo) but there are no major damages and it displays well. It has been cleaned and given a gentle wax polish and is ready for use.
