A good antique pine blanket box dating from the late 19th / early 20th century. It is well made with metal carrying handles and dove tail joints. Inside it has its original hinges and a small candle box with hinged lid. A good size for a coffee table, end of the bed storage or toy trunk.
It is in good condition for its age. It is strong and sturdy and generally clean and tidy inside. There are signs of age and use, some light knocks and marks but nothing untoward. There are some minor signs of historic worm which has all been treated as a precaution and isn't detrimental. It has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
