A good example of a small antique solid silver pedestal bowl. It is stylish and good quality with a beautifully pierced and repousse design with a wavy rim, standing on a round foot.
It is clearly hallmarked for Sheffield, 1895 and the makers James Dixon & Sons Ltd. It weighs approximately 58g.
It is in very good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks, minor signs of age and use and some minor dinks but nothing detrimental. It has been cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
