Product Details

A lovely antique pine dresser dating from the late 19th / early 20th century. The base has two cupboard doors that open to a shelved interior below two nicely shaped drawers with concealed handles below the bottom edge. The top part of the dresser is set back and has two glazed doors opening to reveal a shelved interior. These shelves have plate support ledges at the back to allow for plates to be stood up as well as things to be displayed on the shelves.

It is a good quality piece with arched panels and nicely shaped corbels flanking the cupboard doors. The pine has mellowed to a lovely colour over the years and the whole piece has a nice patina with a smooth waxed finish.

It splits into two parts for transport and can be fixed together with four small screws.

It is in good condition throughout and is strong and sturdy. It is not without some signs of age and use, some small marks and minor knocks and stains but no major damages or anything detrimental. There are some minor signs of old worm around the base which has all been treated as a precaution and hasn't affected the piece structural or aesthetically. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
