Pair of Antique Silver Sauce Boats

A fine pair of solid Sterling Silver sauce boats with elegant scrolling handles, standing on three hooved legs with scallop tops. They are stylish and superb quality and a good large size weighing approximately 295g each. Both pieces are engraved with an A initial.

They are both fully hallmarked for Francis Higgins, London, 1897 - a particularly fine maker of the time.
They are in excellent condition with a clear hallmark. There are no major damages and they display beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and a few light scratches and small dinks but nothing detrimental. They have been lightly cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
