Antique Oak Desk Chair

Circa 1900

A lovely oak desk chair dating from the early 20th Century. It is a good comfortable chair and very well made with a red leather-look and studded seat. It serves as a lovely desk chair but would also be a nice library or hall chair. It has an attractive shape with central curved splats on cabriole legs with a H-stretcher.

It is in excellent condition for its age. It has developed a lovely aged patina and is structurally very sound, having recently been restored. The original aged upholstery has been saved and re-used while the below webbing has been replaced to strengthen the seat. It has been polished and although is not without a few small marks here and there it displays beautifully.

Approximate Measurements :

Height : 32" (82cm)

Width across arms : 23" (59cm)

Depth of seat : 18" (46cm)
