Adjustable Rosewood Piano Stool
Beautiful antique Piano Stool dating from the Victorian period with an upholstered buttoned seat and patented adjustable movement. The stool is made of the finest quality rosewood and shows excellent workmanship. It is a simple yet elegant design with turned adjustment knobs and turned sabre legs. The seat has been upholstered in a good quality leather which has worn slightly giving a nice aged look and is very comfortable.
The stool is adjustable in height and moves up and down by turning the knobs either side of the seat. The mechanism is stamped "Marsdens Patent" and also marked with the numbers '4856'.

It is in very good condition for its age. The upholstery is clean and tidy with no tears or damages. The adjustment mechanism runs smoothly and the stool is very stable. The wood has a beautiful rich grain and has been waxed to retain its natural aged patina. The wood is free from any major knocks or damages and is overall a good sturdy construction. It displays beautifully and is ready for use.
