Oak Tilt-Top Occasional Table
A lovely occasional table dating from the late 18th / early 19th Century. The rectangular top is made of two pieces of oak and it stands on a turned baluster and reeded support with tripod splayed legs and pad feet. It has the original blacksmith-made latch which is strong and in good order. It has been sympathetically restored and is very sturdy with a good level top. There are signs of age and use, some marks and old knocks but nothing detrimental and the whole piece has a lovely rich patina and displays well.
