Victorian Tunbridge Ware Tea Caddy
A fine example of a Victorian Tea Caddy made of walnut with tunbridge ware banding, a brass escutcheon and matching brass cartouche. Inside it is divided into two lidded sections and the lid is lined in red paper. It comes with its original working key.
It is in very good condition for its age and displays beautifully. The exterior of the box has a lovely patina with no major damages and it is generally clean and tidy inside. There are some minor signs of wear and age and a few minor marks and a small chip on one corner but nothing detrimental.
