Antique Silver Pepper Shakers
A lovely pair of Victorian solid Sterling Silver pepper shakers. They are a classical style with square footed bases and urn shaped bodies with round shakers topped with finials. They are good quality and weigh approximately 75g.
They are clearly hallmarked for Thomas Hayes, Birmingham, 1897.
They are both in good condition and display very well. On some of the corners the silver has worn thin over years of polishing (see photos). There are some faint surface marks, a few light scratches and small dinks but nothing untoward for its age. They have been gently cleaned and polished and are ready for use.
