Victorian "Quart" Tankard
A good example of a Victorian "Quart" tankard dating from the mid 19th century. It is decorated with a traditional blue and white transfer-ware pattern and is stamped "Quart" above a V-R cypher and crown.
Approximate Measurements :
Height : 6" (15cm)
Base Diameter : 4 1/4" (11cm)
It is in good condition for its age. The colours have remained bright and there are no major damages or restoration. There are some small minor surface scratches and marks and small light scuffs and some minor crazing in the glaze but nothing detrimental and it displays well.
