Antique Scent Bottle with Silver Top
A superb Victorian ceramic scent bottle with a textured surface and attractive floral painted decoration. It has a solid silver threaded top and silver collar. The top is hallmarked for Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & James Francis Hollings Shepherd, Birmingham, 1886. The bottom of the scent bottle is painted with the number 1012.
It is in very good condition for its age. There are some general signs of age and use and light surface marks on the silver top but nothing detrimental. There are no cracks or damages to the bottle. It has been cleaned and the silver gently polished and overall it displays very well.
