Large Antique Solid Silver Bon Bon Dish

London, 1888

A fine example of a large Victorian sterling silver Bon Bon dish with pierced wavy rim and four bold floral embossed feet. It is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 200g.

It is very clearly hallmarked for William Hutton & Sons Ltd, London, 1893.

It is in good condition for its age. There is no major damage and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and spots of tarnish, some minor signs of age and use and some small dents in the bottom of the dish (see photos) but overall it displays well. It has been gently cleaned and polished and displays beautifully.
