Tambour Front Filing Cabinet
A fantastic tabletop tambour fronted filing cabinet dating from the early 20th Century. It was likely used in an office or reception and there are 12 pigeon holes, some with old paper labels above them. The cabinet is made of oak and there is a raised gallery around the top.
It is in good original condition and has been lightly cleaned and waxed to retain its lovely aged patina. The inside is generally clean and tidy and the tambour front opens and closes smoothly. There are a few small knocks and scuffs as to be expected and there is a repair to the oak on the back of one side (see photo) but nothing detrimental. It does not come with a key.
