Edwardian Desktop Stationery Cabinet

Circa 1900

A beautiful oak tabletop stationery cabinet with a lovely warm patina and a sloped top with brass escutcheon. 

The lid opens up to reveal a series of racks for holding papers and letters. There is also a concealed pen tray in the side which pulls out when a brass pin is lifted. 

It is in good original condition and although it has been used it has obviously been very well looked after over the years. There are some general signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. The box does not come with a key.
