Antique Oak Cupboard

An unusual oak cupboard dating from the 19th Century. It is likely to be Continental with a pronounced architectural cornice and is flanked by large turned wooden columns standing on bun feet. It has a pair of cupboard doors above three drawers. The cupboards contain two small spice drawers and two shelves and come with its original working key. The drawers have brass ring pull handles and matching escutcheons.

It is in good condition for its age. The interior is clean and tidy and the drawers open smoothly. It has developed a lovely patina and there are no major damages. There have been some repairs and restorations over the years and there are general signs of age and use, some light marks and knocks, small chips and the door panels have old shrinkage splits in them but nothing detrimental and it displays beautifully. It comes with its original working key for the cupboard doors.
