Antique Tabletop Collectors Cabinet
A lovely mahogany tabletop cabinet with a lift up top and 5 graduated drawers, dating from the late 19th / early 20th century. It is a good quality piece and is solidly made with hand cut dovetail joints on all the drawers. There is a carrying handle on the top and brass latches on the sides to keep the top shut. The top layer is divided internally and has a blue lining. The top two drawers are also divided and lined and the bottom three have had the dividers and liners taken out.
It is in good original condition and is strong and sturdy. It has picked up a few minor knocks and scuffs over the years and there are a few marks and stains but nothing detrimental. There are some small holes and areas of wear in the blue drawer linings and the cabinet is missing its escutcheon. Some of the wooden drawer knobs have been changed but overall it displays very nicely.
