Antique Tabletop Collectors Drawers
A lovely tabletop pine chest of four graduated drawers dating from the early 20th Century. It is a good quality piece and is solidly made with hand cut dovetail joints on all the drawers. This particular chest was originally sectioned and used to store a collection of perhaps eggs or minerals in. Each drawer is graduated in size and some still have the remains of the hand written paper labels for the different countries the specimens were from.
It is in good original condition and displays very nicely. It has picked up a few minor knocks and scuffs over the years but nothing detrimental. The drawers all open and close smoothly and are generally clean and tidy inside.
