Large Antique Solid Silver Dish
A fine example of a large Victorian solid silver dish with flared rim and a swirling repousse floral design. It is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 188g. The centre of the dish is engraved "A Token of Esteem from The Mothers Union. Twyford. 1925".
It is clearly hallmarked for William Comyns & Sons, London, 1888.
It is in excellent condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and minor signs of age and use and some small dinks but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and displays beautifully.
