Antique Silver Ladle
A fine example of an early solid Sterling Silver ladle with a scallop design. The ladle is good quality, weighing approximately 45g and measuring approximately 7" (18cm) long.
It is hallmarked for London, 1773. The maker's mark looks like T.S. but I have been unable to identify it.
It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. The handle is slightly bent and there are some faint surface marks and a few light scratches but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
The best description comes from the photos so please look at them all carefully and if you have any questions please ask.
