Regency Rosewood Table

circa 1830

A good Regency occasional table with octagonal top on a splayed tripod base with carved lions paw feet. The quality is superb and the beautifully figured rosewood top has delicately turned finials below.
It is in very good condition and has a beautiful patina. It is strong and sturdy with no major damages. There are some signs of age and use which I have photographed including some small knocks and marks on the top surface and
a few minor chips around the edge. The crest on one lion's foot is missing but it isn't obvious or detrimental. There has also been an old repair to a small area of damage on the pedestal which is slightly lighter than the rest but again, is not terribly obvious or detrimental. The table still displays beautifully and has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
