Regency Overmantel Mirror
A beautiful antique mirror dating from the early to mid 19th century. The rosewood frame has simple turned columns surounding three sides of the mirror with gilded detail at the top and bottoms of the columns and the glass is framed by a gilded slip. There are turned feet on the bottom of the mirror to allow it to stand as an overmantel or it can also be hung on the wall. The original mercury glass mirror plate has worn and foxed in a few places but not detrimentally.
There are signs of age and some light marks but overall it is in good condition with no major damages and displays very well. It has been cleaned and polished and is ready for hanging.
