Antique Silver Sauce Boat
Chester, 1912

A fine example of a large Sterling Silver sauce boat with an elegant scroll handle and three hoofed legs with scallop tops. It is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 197g. It is fully hallmarked for George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, Chester, 1912.

Approximate Measurements :
Length : 6 1/2" (16cm)
Width : 3 1/2" (9cm)
Height : 4" (10cm)
It is in very good condition for its age. The hallmark has rubbed slightly but is still clear and readable. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint internal surface scratches and a few light surface marks and dinks and a small split near the top (see photo) but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished is ready for use.
