Antique 3 Draw Telescope
Good example of a small high quality telescope dating from the late 19th century. It is a powerful three draw telescope with a mahogany covered centre and brass tubes. It also has an extendable sun shade and comes with a protective brass end cap.
The condition of the telescope is very good for its age. It is fully functional with undamaged lenses. The lenses are generally clean and they produce a clear and crisp image, although I expect they would probably benefit from a clean. The tubes have some minor signs of use and age and the wood has some general scuffs and marks but nothing detrimental. The draws have a smooth but firm action and the brass has been cleaned and lightly polished.
