Art Deco Table Lamp

A beautiful Art Deco style table lamp dating from the 1930s. The base is made chrome with a stylish square stepped base. It has a chrome bulb holder and it has a beautiful pink mottled glass shade with gilt detail. It has an on/off press switch in the base.
It is in working order and has been rewired to modern standards to take a bayonet bulb (bulb not included). It is also PAT tested for electrical safety. We would advise using a low wattage LED bulb to prevent the glass shade getting too hot.
The base is stamped with the patent number "Reg No. 782622" which dates the design to having been registered between January and June 1933.
The lamp stands approximately 16" (41cm) tall. The base is 4 1/4" (11cm) square and at its widest, across the glass shade, it is approximately 4 3/4" (12cm) in diameter.
It is in good condition for its age. There are no major damages, just a few small nibbles around the edge of the glass shade but nothing detrimental. The chrome has tarnished slightly in places but it has been cleaned and gently polished and displays beautifully.
The best description comes from the photos so please have a good look and if you have any questions at all please ask.
